Front Lines characters ☆ 107 Here young women are called up to fight alongside men this is the story of Rio Richlin and her friends as they go into battle against Hitler’s forces But not everyone believes that they should be on the front lines Now. Now I know why they never let women fight wars Sergeant Garaman says Too mean Front Lines is a historical fiction with a little twist here the United States took women to fight in World War II Our protagonists have different motivations to be Army volunteers and each one of them deals differently with the challenging training and battle The first third of the book was fantastic the author took his time to introduce the characters and there are plenty and it added a lot of depth to all of them The second third was when the military training happened it dragged a little bit but it was still solid and kept my attention The final part however was a struggle I was so bored and I just couldn t get to the end of the book fast enough Besides this is the first in a trilogy so the story doesn t really have an ending and it deserved one and stops right in the middle of the warI probably won t continue on with the series the war descriptions were just very uninteresting to me
